MENICA MARTA offers three self-catering or BB studio apartments, with fully equipped kitchenette, each with a comfortable double bed, one single or double sofa-bed, TV, bathroom with shower. Each studio can comfortably host two adults and up to 2 children. Air conditioning is fitted but the location on a hill means that it is rarely required

Area Description

Menica Marta Country House is set in Tuscia, Northern Latium. You can step out of the front door and explore the peacefull hills with hazelnuts and chestnuts groves.

Tuscia is rich of interesting towns and villages and we are within a short drive of them. We have a huge selection of tourist information leaflets available for our guests. The list of places to go and things to see is far too extensive for us to list here. Some of the more popular, nearby attractions however include:

Etruscan Sites with beautiful painted tombs (Norchia, Castel D’asso, Tarquinia, Tuscania, Vulci),
Renaissance Palaces (Palazzo Farnese at Caprarola, Palazzo Doria Pamphilij at San Martino al Cimino, Villa Lante at Bagnaia),
Path of Faith (The Via Francigena, the Iter Francorum, or the "Frankish Route" is a branch of the Pilgrimage trail that goes between Canterbury and Rome),
Path of War (the Via Amerina through the ancient ager faliscus (Faliscan territory), it linked Rome with the Umbria region, getting its name from the city of Amelia (Ameria). It was built following the Roman conquest of the territory (241 B.C.)
Medieval villages (Fabrica di Roma, Civita Castellana, Civita di Bagnoregio, Ronciglione, Soriano nel Cimino…), are set in a beautiful and unspoilt countryside
